for colored girls

I went to to the poem/show for colored girl. It was nothing I aspect I thought it was one person in a dark room reading a poem they wrote about what is like for african american girl and some of the hardships. I found that I was very surprised that i really liked. It had many different races and told many stories about not only what its like to be an african american women or girl but some of the hardships that all girls go through. I thought everyone could relate to this play because it showed some different hardships that everyone can imagine how hard it would be to go throught them and it was easy to out yourself in thier shoes. It was about strength and overcoming hardships and surving through them more then the hardships themselves. It showed that no matter what you go through you can be strong and overcome them you just need to find  the strength in yourself.
