majors
This past week was registration for next semester. I am only a freshman and have no idea what i want to do with the rest of my life. I want to go see my counsler and she asked if i had decided a major yet. This is the question I get asked atleast 3 times a month. If there is a family function i will be asked atleast 15 times. My answer is always no, no idea. I feel like everyone else already has their college and their rest of their lives figured out. I know alot of people will chang their major several times. I jusst find it extremly hard to commit to one thing the rest of my life on something a sorta like when Im 18. So next semester I am still going to be undecided. Maybe I will find something I really like but I know I still wont be comfortable making the decision that will affect everything about my life. Everyone says you can always change it and go back. That is extremly difficult do and something I really don't want to do.

Try not to think of it as picking something you want to do with the rest of your life. Just pick something you're interested in doing or learning about right now. The good thing about being a freshman is you still have time to explore. When I was freshman I never imagined I'd be a teacher but that's the road I eventually ended up on. I changed majors like crazy. Really utilize your gen eds to find the things you're interested in and you'll be fine.
